JOB SUMMARY

 
Professional Healthcare Resources, a leader in Home Health, Hospice and Personal Care services in the Washington, DC and Baltimore, Maryland area, seeks a passionate and enthusiastic PERSONAL CARE PROGRAM MANAGER to join our leadership team.
The Clinical Manager is driving the business on the day to day basis and is responsible for the overall administration of processes and staff.

JOB SUMMARY
An administrative professional responsible for all aspects of the Personal Care/Private Duty (PC/PD) program within a designated branch, including financial performance, regulatory compliance, recruitment, retention and training of staff, efficiency of operations, customer service and business growth and development; develops, sells, grows, and improves PC/PD; promotes quality services in accordance with established agency policies and procedures, assuring the quality and growth of the agency; complies with federal, state, and local guidelines for all services
 
JOB DUTIES
  • Collaborates with the Director of Performance Improvement/Program Development
    • Develops and maintains records and processes to ensure continuous compliance with all federal, state, local and payer requirements
    • Monitors data collection, aggregation, analysis, and action plans to continuously improve in key quality metrics
  • Manages the education and schedules of supervised staff
    • Identifies in-service and training needs of all CNAs, HHAs, and Companion Sitters; develops and implements educational programs to meet them
    • Ensures efficient staffing/scheduling operations, including assignment of field personnel, maintaining optimum productivity levels; monitors daily and weekly schedules matching needs, abilities, and territories to the assignment
  • Completes regular reporting activities, assists the Branch Administrator in making optimal operational decisions
    • Develops an annual budget, obtains and monitors daily weekly and monthly financial and operational indicators, and takes corrective action as needed
    • Maintains automated monitoring and reporting tools; submits for monthly review and reporting
    • Reviews relevant documentation submitted by clinical staff within the skilled division; assists with the monthly billing process as requested
    • Assists in establishing, promoting, and maintaining professional and cooperative business relationships with governing agencies, local businesses, the medical community, and educational venues
  • Participates in personal and professional growth and development for self and staff
    • Responsible for providing a positive model for the team through effective self-management and leadership
    • Maintains current knowledge of industry and agency guidelines


 

Job Requirements
  • MUST BE A REGISTERED NURSE
  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus in health care
  • Must possess at least five (5) years’ experience in a home care agency
  • Must possess at least two (2) years’ experience in supervisory/management role
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in business development strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations concerning personal care strongly preferred
